If you are interested in beginning your ride at the suggested start time, and believe you can complete the route within 72 hours, please submit your intent to ride to the contact details below (you should want to complete this challenge because of the self-supported philosophy, understand that the rules are there to promote equal opportunity, and not be looking for grey areas within them)

 

Understand that you must plan to be completely self-sufficient, just as you would be if you chose to ride the route on any other day. The Cairngorms are infamous for their remote nature, and extreme weather conditions. You are responsible for your own safety and should be prepared for a night in the hills. Tell someone what you are doing and check in with them when you are done.

 

If you're unsure about your abilities to complete a self-supported ride of this nature within the set timeframe, remember it can be ridden as a tour any time! (and in any style you like.)
